According to new EU legislation, we also share this information with Skatteverket starting January 1, 2023. The same rules as before apply regarding how you should declare and pay taxes. How is my report calculated?
The report is based only on payments made to your bank account during the relevant calendar year.
A payment is included regardless of whether it concerns rent for a period in the following year.

Where can I find my DAC7 report?
You can find your report on our website here.
For privacy and security reasons (GDPR), we cannot send the report via email or physical mail.

Who is reported to Skatteverket?
We report the information linked to the BankID-verified user account.
Only one person can be BankID-verified per account.
If multiple people are involved in the rental but only one is BankID-verified, that person’s information is reported.

Why does it say no fee has been paid?
As a landlord, you do not pay a fee directly to us. The service fee is paid by the tenant.

I am renting on behalf of someone else. What should I do?
If you are renting on behalf of someone else (e.g., your mother), and that person needs to declare the income, you need to contact Skatteverket.
We can only report the information for the BankID-verified user.

What should I do if something is wrong with my report?
Contact Skatteverket to correct your tax report.
We cannot make changes to the reported information.

Check that you have selected the correct rental in the view showing your tax report.

Can you send my DAC7 report by physical mail?
No, the report is only available on our website.

What happens if Skatteverket has questions about my report?
"Skatteverket will not tax you for anything you have not declared yourself, i.e., not solely based on our report. If there are discrepancies between your report and the platform’s report, Skatteverket will contact you first to give you a chance to explain the situation."
