Don't wait to write a rental agreement if you have found a good tenant; otherwise, another landlord may snitch that candidate before you! Qasa's digital rental agreement is easy to use and offers many advantages during the rental process.
- Create a rental agreement directly in the chat
- Sign the agreement digitally with BankID
- Can my tenant sign without BankID?
- Can I print my rental agreement?
- Write an agreement for someone else
Create a rental agreement directly in the chat on Qasa
In your conversation with the tenant, click on the "To lease" button in the right column to generate a rental agreement. The agreement is based on the information you provided in your listing and from your profiles.
You can easily customize the lease to your needs before proceeding to sign. The tenant cannot make any changes on their own, so you, as the landlord, have full control over the content of the agreement. However, the tenant can review the draft agreement in Norwegian and request adjustments from you via chat.
Sign the agreement digitally with BankID
Once you are satisfied with the content of the rental agreement, you can easily sign it digitally with BankID. Click on "Agree and sign" to initiate the signing process. As the landlord, you will sign it first, and after you have done so, the tenant will do the same.
Can my tenant sign without BankID?
No problem at all! If the tenant does not have BankID, they will have the option to sign using photo identification instead.
Can I print my rental agreement?
A copy of the signed rental agreement will be sent to both of you via email after signing. It will also be available on your rental pages on Qasa so that you can easily download and print it if needed.
Who needs to sign the lease?
It's perfectly fine to assist someone else with the agreement. However, it's important that the same landlord who verified their ID when publishing the listing is also the person who signs the agreement. If you're helping someone else with the process, please do not do it from an account in your name. Instead, ask the person who will be on the agreement to create and verify the account.
If there are multiple owners of a property, only one person can sign the agreement. However, it is possible to include the other person's name in the agreement. If you want to do this, you are welcome to contact our support and we will help you!
