No, Qasa does not accept other types of deposit guarantees (for example, NAV guarantee or other arrangements). We only offer our own Deposit Guarantee or traditional deposit.
How does it work?
When a contract is signed, we perform a credit check of the tenant. You can read more about it here.
If the tenant is approved, they will use Qasa's deposit guarantee and do not need to pay a traditional deposit.
If the tenant is not approved, an invoice corresponding to 3 months' rent as a deposit will be sent.
What if the tenant has other types of guarantees (for example from NAV)?
Since we do not accept other types of guarantees directly, the solution may be that the organization (for example NAV) pays the deposit invoice on behalf of the tenant. But the tenant would need to contact them directly to find out.
Important to know about the deposit account
The deposit is placed in a Keyhole Secure deposit account, which follows the Tenancy Act § 3-5.
The deposited funds are held in the tenant's name in a secured account administered by Keyhole/PayProff.
The account is only opened after the invoice has been paid.
The funds are securely held throughout the tenancy, and payment is only made by agreement between the parties or by a legally binding decision.
